Knowing how to choose the correct tyre is essential to ensure optimal (and safe) rolling performance since not all tyres will fit any rim.

  • Inch (Traditional): 26" x 1.75
  • French (Metric): 700 x 25
  • ETRTO/ISO: 25-622

What about TPI (Threads per Inch)?
High counts (120 TPI) mean a lighter, more supple and faster rolling tyre. Low counts (60 TPI) have thicker threads, giving more durability and puncture resistance.
