Testing the Xplova - X5 Evo

I could not wait to give the Xplova - X5 Evo a whirl on Beach Rd.

Too excited to read any of the instructions so I was relying upon the unit being very intuitive.

The “info” displays were great, very clear and visible, especially the standard grid format (so important for us older guys).

The  maps came up straight away, which automatically gave me speed measurement.

It took me a minute longer than expected to find the “sensors” area, but once I did, it was so easy to sync my heartrate, power and cadence.

The “video” button gave me four options and the first one I pressed gave me single shot photo’s , the second choice button set the video in action with an easy on/off.

Saturday was a great morning for riding (a little chilly to start) so I was a little surprised there were not heaps more riders out and about.

Anyway I caught some action (and a few small pelotons) which I am happy to share !

 

The Verdict

The X5 Evo it is a definite winner, now it is all about the buying and selling price !!!

Fingers crossed for some good pricing.
