The IRC Tanken Gekkota Tubeless Ready is an aggressive MTB tyre designed for enduro, downhill, trail riding, and demanding off-road conditions. Developed from the IRC Tanken platform, the Gekkota version focuses on grip, control, and impact resistance across rough terrain, rocky sections, roots, and technical trails.

The Tanken Gekkota uses IRC's Slow Rebound Compound, a low-rebound rubber compound designed to help the tread conform to uneven ground and maintain grip across wet and dry trail surfaces. This helps the tyre hold traction over rocks, roots, rough trail surfaces, and mixed MTB terrain where control and confidence are important.

The tread uses large, aggressive blocks to provide strong braking and climbing traction, with supportive shoulder knobs to help the tyre hold through corners. The 27.5 x 2.30 size gives a good balance of grip, control, rolling speed, and bike clearance for compatible trail and enduro bikes.

This version is a 27.5 x 2.30 folding tyre with a 58-584 ETRTO size, 60 TPI casing, aramid bead, tubeless ready construction, and side and bead-area reinforcement to help resist side cuts and rim strike style impacts.
